Testing Engineer

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our products. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA Leads to identify issues and improve the user experience.

• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide timely testing feedback.

• Support root cause analysis and post-release validation efforts.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and best practices.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test cases and test scripts (manual and automated) based on product requirements.

• Identify, document, and track bugs using standard defect tracking tools (e.g., DevOps).

• Work closely with the development team to reproduce, isolate, and debug issues.

• Design and develop automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.

• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development environments to continuously deliver high-quality releases.

• Maintain test environments and test data sets.

• Experience in Waterfall/Agile development.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.

• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter).

• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Experience in testing APIs and web services (REST, SOAP).

• Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

• Demonstrate analytical, communication and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in short release cycles (Iterative, Agile), full software life cycles & entire SDLC knowledge.

• ISTQB or other relevant certification is a plus.

Prerequisites:

• Qualification - BE/B Tech/MCA.

• The candidate should have a minimum of 4+ years of experience.

• Candidate should be open for both - flexible to work both from Pune Office & Remotely depending on position requirement
