Could you be the full-time Testing & Commissioning Manager in Coimbatore, we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your **testing and commissioning** expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside **dedicated and collaborative** teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, fully-tested products that meet customer requirements and align with our Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Industrial Quality, Project Industrial Managers, and Production Line Managers), manage testing teams at the site, and ensure the seamless handover of products from testing to packing, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of **overseeing testing processes and managing escalations**, but also **monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards**.
We’ll look to you for:
Ensuring that EPU Managers and teams understand acceptance criteria and deploy efficient handover procedures.
Collaborating with stakeholders like Industrial Quality, Project Quality & Safety Managers, and Project T&C Managers to guide decisions.
Organizing weekly reviews on testing KPIs and taking action to resolve critical issues.
Monitoring progress on KPIs and ensuring alignment with site testing capacity and facility.
Managing testing workloads and adapting capacity based on forecasts.
Providing testing teams with the necessary procedures, tools, and facilities to succeed.
Ensuring compliance with EHS standards and promoting a safe working environment.
Managing team competencies through training and development.
Communicating effectively with stakeholders and resolving conflicts within the department.

Education: A full-time BE/ME in Electrical Engineering.
15 to 18 years of experience in Testing & Commissioning of electrical, control, onboard communications, and network systems within process industries, railways, or factory automation.
At least 2 years of experience in Test Engineering (T&C Methods).
Fluency in English.
Familiarity with high-risk activities associated with electrical work and EHS requirements.
A strong understanding of key electrical and/or mechanical processes (e.g., earthing & bonding, cabling, protection, and instrumentation).
Strong leadership skills with a result-driven mindset.
Ability to foster communication between multiple stakeholders and work across sites/functions in a multicultural environment.
Skills in negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making in complex environments.
Team spirit, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills.
