Job Description:

Core Technical Skills

Primary Skills

• Expertise in UFT tool
• Proficient in VBScript
• Strong understanding of Object Repository: Both shared and local repositories, and dynamic object handling.
• Framework Design: Experience building and maintaining keyword-driven, data-driven, and hybrid frameworks.
• Database Validation: Writing SQL queries for backend verification.
• Error Handling & Recovery Scenarios: Implementing robust error-handling mechanisms.
• Basic knowledge of Python language and Shell scripting
• Debugging concepts in UFT

Secondary Skills

• Basic knowledge of Java programming (OOP concepts, exception handling, collections).
• Understanding of Selenium WebDriver (locators, browser automation, handling alerts/frames).
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Tools

• Jenkins or CI/CD tools: For continuous integration and test execution.
• Excel & Data Tables: For parameterization and data-driven testing.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git, SVN, or similar tools.

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking: Ability to troubleshoot and optimize test scripts.
• Communication: Collaborating with developers, testers, and business analysts.
• Agile/Scrum Experience: Participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
