About the Role

The Test Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This position involves designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to enhance product performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.
