Test Automation Specialist

Key Responsibilities ·Write automated tests using our Java based test framework: o Backend integration tests o User acceptance tests o API tests for the system’s REST API ·Participate in the project’s scrum ceremonies, e.g. daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos and retros. ·Perform manual smoke tests using the system’s UI. · Communicate with internal stakeholders as well as coordinating with the customer’s QA team. What you will bring to the team ·Java 11, TestNG, REST, Swagger/OpenAPI, Gradle, Git, BitBucket, Jenkins, Jira/Similar tools. ·Knowledge on the Capital markets, e.g. clearing, settlement, trading, financial instruments or corporate actions. ·3 - 10 years of experience in automated and manual testing. ·Experience in writing Java 8+ code. ·Experience from highly complex, distributed, resilient and transaction intensive systems. ·A self-driven attitude along with a sense of structure and creativeness. ·Excellent written and spoken English. · Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology or software engineering or equivalent.
