Job DescriptionJob Description :Key ResponsibilitiesTest Automation Development and Execution:
- Demonstrate expertise in designing and developing automated tests, including Integration Tests, Acceptance Tests, and Performance Tests.
- Map requirements, understand user acceptance criteria, and convert user stories into tangible test cases.
- Plan, create, and manage test cases, test suites.
- Efficiently troubleshoot, debug, and resolve code-related errors for major enhancements and minor change requests.
Technical Collaboration and Communication:
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the software system and actively participate in code reviews and development activities.
- Communicate complex technical solutions clearly to program stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Create technical documentation considering customer requirements and project architecture.
- Estimate timelines for implementing changes, such as adding or modifying existing code components.
- Interpret defect burn down charts and manipulate data for defect management purposes.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for the test automation domain.
Who are you?
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Top-tier software engineer with primary focus in Java/Kotlin development, Python and QA with proven proficiency in development for large integrated software solutions.
- 5+ Years of experience in various test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber , Appium , Pytest, Locators(Id’s,Xpaths) etc. is required
- Strong knowledge of testing concepts including different staging environments with requirements traceability.
- Experience with automation on Android/iOS platforms – (adb , logcat).
- Basic knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD methods , AWS / S3 (cloud).
- Analytical approach and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent collaborative skills , spoken English and experience in multi cultural and multi-site working environment is a big plus
- The following knowledge would add extra value to your contribution in our team:
- Knowledge of location-based services such as mapping, navigation, GPS
- Desired testing certifications viz. ISTQB, CSTE, CP-BAT, CP-MAT, CP-SAT etc.
- Experience in working with embedded and/or automotive hardware test environments
- Testing of safety critical equipments.
