Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Drive acquisition of premium/high-ticket size merchants within the assigned Geography.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets (EDC device installations, transaction volumes, and revenue KPIs).
  • Lead, mentor and manage a team of Key Account Executives to acquire, onboard, and retain high-value merchants, ensuring strong device penetration and transaction volumes across the assigned cluster.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key merchants to ensure retention and market share.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback and provide data-driven insights and periodic performance reports to the Cluster Manager.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience: 2 - 6 years of experience in sales, preferably in the payments, banking, fintech or POS/EDC industry.
  • Minimum 2 years in a team management role.
  • Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of EDC/POS technology and merchant needs.
  • Proven team management and leadership capability.
  • Data-driven approach with proficiency in CRM and Excel.
