Role Overview

Territory Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales executives to achieve territory sales targets.
  • Drive customer acquisition through direct sales, channel sales, and referral strategies.
  • Develop and execute territory-level sales plans aligned with company goals.
  • Train, mentor, and upskill the sales team for high performance and productivity.
  • Manage sales funnel, track performance metrics, and ensure strong conversion ratios.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and customer segments in the region.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience by aligning product offerings with customer needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to implement campaigns and feedback-driven improvements.
  • Regularly report on sales performance, market insights, and competitor activities.

Key Requirements

  • MBA in Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum

    4+ years of sales experience

  • Strong background in

    Insurance / EdTech sales

    (consultative & solution selling experience preferred).
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to analyze data and make decisions.
  • Willingness to travel within the territory as required.
