The Territory Manager is part of CG Power and Industrial Solutions' Sales division. CG Power is a prominent multinational company in the field of electrical engineering, renowned for its extensive portfolio of products and solutions. Within the Sales and Marketing division, the Territory Manager's main objective is to drive the promotion and sale of the product line to customers spanning diverse sectors.
The Territory Manager encounters various obstacles within this position. They must navigate a competitive market and achieve sales objectives within their designated territory. Key responsibilities include comprehending customer requirements, identifying appropriate solutions, and skillfully promoting them to generate sales. Furthermore, effectively managing customer relationships, addressing technical inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction are vital aspects of the role. The Territory Manager can rely on internal support from the Sales team, technical experts and product specialists. Additionally, they can use external resources such as training programs and industry networks to stay informed about market trends and drive successful sales outcomes.
Identify potential customers, generate leads, qualify leads by determining their needs, develop and execute a sales strategy to close the deal and measure the results of lead generation and conversion efforts.
Maintain regular contact with customers, understand their needs and provide them with the best possible service and work with customers to resolve any issues or problems.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers, answer customer questions about the product line and troubleshoot problems that customers are experiencing.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities and industry news and use this information to identify new opportunities and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product development and customer service to ensure that customer needs are met, share information with other departments about customer feedback and insights and work with other departments to develop new products and services that meet customer needs.
1. Should possess 2-7 years of experience in sales, preferably in a related industry.
2. Proven track record in achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
