Tendering & Costing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze RFQs, tenders, and technical specifications.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for Mechanical/Electrical scope.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and execution teams for pricing inputs.
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations and support negotiation.
• Develop techno-commercial proposals and bid documentation.
• Contribute to risk assessments and pricing strategies.
• Maintain and update databases for material and labor costs.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in costing, tendering, or estimation in construction/MEP projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction costing methods.
• Proficient in

  MS Excel

  ,

  AutoCAD

  , and costing tools/software.
• Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tenders simultaneously.
