Tender Engineer

Job Profile:

1. Mainly to assist your seniors in the development and delivery of all bids and projects, ensuring pre-qualification questionnaires and all tender documentation are completed.

2. To draft and review bid submission content, ensuring all bids are submitted on time and fully compliant with the requirements.

3. Ensure all proposals are formatted and comply with company brand guidelines, customer requirements and follow internal quality guidelines.

4. Analyses the clients documents to ensure the responses being created respond implicitly to the questions being asked.

5. Coordinate clarification questions, forward to client and monitor responses.

6. The role is generally focused on evaluating the initial enquiry with the sales team and tracking and managing progress of works and presenting final bids to clients as required.

7. Understanding the rules of tendering

8. Undertaking a Bid/No Bid exercise to decide whether to make a submission or not

9. Understanding the RFP, deciding timelines and responsibilities

10. Selling your tender and pricing to win

11. Timely management of tender activities

12. Obtaining feedback from purchasers when tenders are unsuccessful in order to improve in future

13. To submit detailed responses to the enquiry documentation and provide answers/responses to any subsequent requests for clarification.

14. To develop costing as a part of the bidding/quotation process.

15. To act as company's internal contact point for the customer during the enquiry and bidding process

16. Must also make sure that deadlines are meet.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
