About the Role: We’re seeking a Telecom Systems Engineer with strong experience in Erlang/OTP, C++, and real-time communication systems. This role is integral to the development and maintenance of our carrier-grade VoIP infrastructure. You’ll be working on low-latency telecom systems, contributing to both backend services and infrastructure automation within a Debian/Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain real-time communication services using Erlang/OTP and C++

Integrate and optimize VoIP solutions using FreeSWITCH and OpenSIPS

Manage and scale NoSQL databases, particularly Cassandra, for high-availability telecom data

Deploy, configure, and maintain systems on Debian-based environments

Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Puppet

Troubleshoot and optimize distributed systems in a high-availability environment

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Support, and Architecture to deliver robust solutions

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong experience with Erlang/OTP, including knowledge of concurrency, fault tolerance, and distributed systems

Proficient in C++, particularly for low-level systems or telecom protocol handling

Solid understanding of VoIP protocols and platforms: FreeSWITCH, OpenSIPS

Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, especially Cassandra

Deep knowledge of Linux systems administration, particularly Debian

Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools, preferably Puppet

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced telecom environment.
