Key Responsibilities:1. Outbound CallingCall potential or existing customers to inform them about a product, service, or offer. Generate leads or sales over the phone. Follow up on previous interactions or cold calls. Maintain a list/database of customers and update call logs. 2. Inbound Calling (if applicable)Answer customer queries and provide product/service information. Handle customer complaints or requests professionally. Redirect calls to appropriate departments when needed. 3. Lead ManagementIdentify customer needs and suggest suitable products/services. Schedule appointments or demos (if part of the process). Collect and verify customer information for record-keeping. 4. Target AchievementMeet daily/weekly/monthly calling and sales targets. Work under performance pressure (especially in sales-based roles). 5. Record Keeping and ReportingMaintain accurate records of calls, customer interactions, and outcomes. Prepare reports on call status, conversions, or feedback. 🧠 Key Skills Required:Excellent verbal communication and listening skills Good command of language(s) (local or English depending on region) Persuasion and negotiation skills Basic computer skills (MS Excel, CRM software, etc.) Patience and empathy Ability to handle rejections professionally 🎯 Performance Metrics (KPIs):Number of calls made/received per day Conversion rate (calls to leads/sales) Customer satisfaction score (CSAT) Call quality (as monitored by QA teams) Average call handling time 📌 Types of Telecaller Roles:Sales Telecaller – Focused on selling products/services.
