Job Description

Job Role: Telecaller / Counselor1. Telecalling & Follow-up Duties Make outbound calls to prospective parents regarding admissions, inquiries, and school programs. Attend and resolve inbound queries from parents/students in a professional and courteous manner. Maintain follow-up with interested parents and guide them through the admission process. Provide accurate information about curriculum, facilities, fee structure, and other school policies. 2. Counseling & Guidance Counsel parents and students about the school’s academic programs, extracurricular activities, and overall learning environment. Help parents understand the benefits of the school’s pedagogy and infrastructure. Assist in addressing queries or concerns related to admissions, academics, and student well-being. 3. Admission Support Assist in admission documentation, form filling, and verification processes. Coordinate with the admissions department to schedule interviews/tests/meetings with parents. Update and maintain admission inquiry records systematically. 4. Relationship Management Build and maintain strong rapport with parents to ensure a positive image of the school. Provide post-admission support and maintain communication with parents to enhance satisfaction. 5. Administrative & Reporting Maintain accurate records of calls, inquiries, and admissions in school MIS/ERP systems. Prepare daily/weekly reports of telecalling performance, inquiries, and conversion ratios. Support front office/reception during admission seasons or special events. 6. Additional Responsibilities Participate in school promotional activities, open houses, and orientation programs. Share parent feedback with school management for continuous improvement. Ensure confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive information. ✅ Key Skills Required: Excellent communication & interpersonal skills Polite and persuasive telecalling approach Good knowledge of school programs and admission process Basic computer/MS Office skills Ability to multitask and handle pressure during peak admission periods
