Job Description

  • About the Role:

As a Relationship Manager (Motor Insurance) at The Insurance Portal, you will play a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with our network of motor insurance agents. Your primary responsibility will be to drive agent engagement, provide exceptional support, and contribute to the growth of our motor insurance business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agent Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with motor insurance agents, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Understand the unique needs and challenges of each agent to provide tailored support.
  • Proactively reach out to agents to offer assistance, address inquiries, and resolve issues.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Develop a deep understanding of our motor insurance products, including features, benefits, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to effectively communicate product information to agents.
  • Sales Support:
  • Provide agents with sales tools, resources, and training to enhance their performance.
  • Assist agents in closing deals and resolving customer queries.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
  • Performance Analysis:
  • Track and analyze agent performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to help agents achieve their targets.
  • Problem Resolution:
  • Serve as a liaison between agents and internal departments to address issues promptly and effectively.
  • Escalate complex problems to management when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in relationship management or sales within the insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of motor insurance products and the insurance sales process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and other relevant software tools.
