About Adamas Universitys Agartala State Office serves as the pivotal liaison between the Universitys main campus and prospective students in Tripura and neighboring northeastern states. The State Office manages admissions outreach, student counseling coordination, and local stakeholder engagement. We are looking for a motivated Telecaller to join our team and support our admissions and outreach initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Outbound Calling: Proactively make outbound calls to prospective students, parents, and educational institutions to share information about Adamas Universitys programs, admission process, and deadlines. Inbound Query Handling: Answer incoming calls, emails, and WhatsApp inquiries from prospects; provide accurate information regarding courses, eligibility, fee structures, and admission timelines. Lead Generation & Follow-up: Qualify incoming leads, maintain accurate records of each interaction in the CRM, and follow up regularly to convert inquiries into application submissions. Counseling Coordination: Schedule appointments (telephonic or in-person) with the Admissions Counselors; share pre-counseling information packets and reminders. Database Management: Update and maintain the student inquiry database dailytrack call logs, call outcomes, and next-action dates. Ensure data integrity for all leads and admissions-related activities. Target Achievement: Meet or exceed weekly and monthly telecalling targets for inquiry-to-application conversion. Regularly report progress to the State Office Manager. Skills & Competencies: Verbal Communication: Clear, polite, and effective telephone etiquette in English and Bengali. Knowledge of Kokborok or other local dialects is a plus. Listening Skills: Ability to actively listen, understand caller needs, and respond appropriately. Persuasion & Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to handle objections, address concerns, and guide prospects through the decision-making process. Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and comfortable using CRM software. Organizational Skills: Strong time management; ability to prioritize follow-ups and maintain detailed logs. Team Player: Collaborative mindset, adaptable to changing priorities, and willing to coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Goal-Oriented: Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient under pressure.
