Techops OTC Logistic Lead

Summary of Role

As the Tech-Ops Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the team, as well as coordinating work with various customer stakeholders (both Business and IT stakeholders). This is a very customer focused, hands-on role where the Tech-Ops Lead will be expected to work on customer issues and developments, as well as collaborate with other functional and technical consultants

The ideal candidate will have a background in providing support for SAP Logistics, as well as demonstrable skills in managing multiple stakeholders through a mix of communication methods.

As Team Lead, you will be able to encourage effective team working by seeking input from team members, and you will provide oversight and support (both technically and operationally) in order to promote continuous improvement through encouraging ideas and seeking recommendations for procedural, operational and system improvements.

You will act as an ambassador for the NDBS Tech Ops team, providing the customer team will a central point of contact for operational issues and support.

Essential:

• Deep knowledge and understanding of SAP ECC & S4 HANA
• Cross functional knowledge across PP / EWM / QM / MM / SD
• Excellent skills to design, configure and test specific core functional modules
• High level of verbal and written communication skills in English
• Documentation skills:- including producing and maintaining functional specifications, test scripts, business process instructions and understanding the importance of version control
• Demonstrable experience of stakeholder management in a Managed Service/Project environment
• A strong ability to understand business processes and design appropriate solutions.
• Demonstrable experience of maintaining technical knowledge / learning new skills.
• Proven experience of acting as liaison point with clients for troubleshooting:- ie strong skills in investigation, analysis, and problem solving.
• Proven presentation skills to a range of audiences.
• Proven ability to work with customers to provide robust end-to-end business solutions.
• A good understanding of GxP requirements and the importance of adhering to defined control processes
• Travel is expected to be no more than 10%
