Technology Resilience Manager

As the Technology Resilience Manager at Intact Insurance Ireland, your role is crucial in enhancing the resilience posture of the organization, ensuring availability and delivery of Important Functions and Important Business Services. You will work towards aligning the technology stack with the business risk appetite, enabling compliance with policy and regulatory obligations. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the Incident Commander for live invocations, managing and supporting business projects with a technology resilience focus. - Coordinate with technical teams, both internal and external stakeholders, and maintain the Disaster Recovery (DR) Framework. - Stay updated on the legal and regulatory environment, engage with the Three Lines of Defence, and provide training programs on disaster recovery best practices. - Maintain situational readiness of the technology stack, respond promptly to disaster events, and coordinate recovery efforts. - Manage and coordinate third-party partners, assess their resilience posture, and support the production of responses to customer and regulatory requests. Qualifications Required: - Highly developed analytical and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in managing DR response within cloud environments, preferably Azure, and leading complex DR projects. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Operational Resilience, and Business Continuity principles. - Ability to craft innovative solutions for complex DR challenges and communicate technical concepts effectively. - Experience in interpreting policies or regulations to create compliant Resilience Frameworks. - Networking and senior stakeholder management skills, along with a continuous improvement mindset. Additional Details: - Technology Resilience at Intact is a key pillar of operational capability and regulatory focus, closely aligned with cyber resilience. - The role involves collaborating with Information Security and Service Delivery functions to enhance holistic resilience. - Regulatory oversight on operational resilience has increased, making compliance mandatory rather than discretionary. - The successful candidate will have exposure to Resilience and Information Security functions within the organization. Preferred Experience/Exposure: - Disaster Recovery experience in a Microsoft Azure environment. - Development of a Disaster/Technical Resilience Management System in a greenfield context. - Experience in managing resilience in a multi-vendor environment, enterprise/solution architecture, or operations/incident management background.,
