Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for Cleaning and Operation of equipment and respective area as per SOP.
• Responsible for capsulation activities machine wise and area wise.
• Responsible for setting of capsulation machine with minimum Non-recoverable recovery.
• Responsible for online In-process checking of Weight of 20 caps, individual wt. variation, Locking length, individual weight of caps, disintegration time and other critical check points of the filled capsule.
• On line weighing and online process checking of capsules and transferring of container to respective quarantine area along with documentation.
• Precaution to be taken and follow the safety in manufacturing area.
• Responsible for execution of the day to day production planning as per planning.
• Handling and maintenance of capsules machines to avoid critical incidents during the capsule filling activities.
• Handling and monitoring of junior technician and casual workers for smooth activities at respective area.
• Co-ordination with QA/QC/Store(RMS)/Eng./Granulation /Compression/Coating department for smooth functioning of Capsulation activities.
• Responsible for Monthly calibration and daily performance verification of balance at capsule area.
• Responsible for cGMP compliance and discipline in Capsule Section.
• Responsible for charge handover to between two shifts with proper communication and proper documentation in shift charge handover logbook.
• Responsible for giving clearance to carry out preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance of equipment’s to engineering personnel.
• Responsible to give clearance of equipment after preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance with proper B-type cleaning and proper charge taken from engineering personnel.
• Responsible for reporting of any abnormalities in the parameter immediately to the Dept. Head/ HOD.
• Responsible for performing any other work whenever assigned by reporting authority.
