We're seeking a talented Technical Writer to elevate our documentation standards and enhance communication across all our products and services.

Role Summary

We need a detail-oriented Technical Writer to own documentation across multiple projects. You'll create user manuals, API documentation, process flows, knowledge base articles, and training materials while collaborating with engineering, QA, UX, and product teams to transform complex technical concepts into clear, actionable documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, write, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including user manuals, API docs, process workflows, and release notes
• Develop content strategy aligned with product release cycles
• Create internal knowledge bases using version-controlled repositories
• Establish documentation templates and style guides for consistency
• Partner with engineers and SMEs to ensure technical accuracy
• Manage documentation teams and coordinate cross-functional project timelines
• Transform complex technical information into clear, audience-specific content
• Create visual aids including diagrams, flowcharts, and screenshots
• Implement user feedback loops to continuously improve documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or related fields
• 2–4 years of technical writing experience in IT/software companies
• Proven experience writing comprehensive software documentation
• Team management experience with ability to lead documentation projects
• Complete written portfolio showcasing full range of technical writing capabilities
• Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
• Proficiency with documentation tools (Word, Google Workspace, Markdown, Confluence)
• Experience with Git and GitHub
• Exceptional written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Level 2 and above: Knowledge of Japanese language and culture
• Experience documenting APIs and cloud-based solutions
• Familiarity with REST APIs and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Previous experience in telecommunications or enterprise software documentation
• Knowledge of developer tools (Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI)
• Experience with diagramming tools (Figma, Draw.io, Lucidchart)
• Understanding of UX principles and accessibility standards

Portfolio Requirements

Submit a complete written portfolio covering different documentation types. Include context for each sample.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
