Technical Writer

Role Overview: As a part of the Technical Writing Team in HYDERABAD, your role is crucial in creating and managing technical documentation for software and hardware products. Your main responsibility will be to translate complex technical information into user-friendly content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and adherence to company standards. Collaboration with subject matter experts, reviewing and editing technical documents, and ensuring quality control and publication on appropriate platforms will be key aspects of your role. Your position will require excellent writing and editing skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to handle complex projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities: - Develop clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation for software/hardware products and systems. - Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and document technical specifications. - Review and edit technical documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with company standards. - Manage, edit, and publish APIs and supporting software documentation for the developers site. - Manage, edit, and publish hardware documentation such as data sheets and reference manuals for the public website. - Understand user needs and customize documentation to address their pain points and enhance their experience. - Lead and participate in documentation projects, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure technical documents" accuracy and completeness. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing or a related field. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong technical knowledge and the ability to comprehend complex technical information. - Experience in creating and managing technical documentation for software or hardware products. - Attention to detail and strong editorial skills to ensure documentation compliance with company standards. - Proven ability to manage documentation projects and meet deadlines. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Proficiency with tools such as Git, Command-line interface, HTML, Markdown, Doxygen, C, C++, DITA, CCMS, Oxygen, Jira, Agile, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and Visio.
