  • Develop, write, and maintain user manuals, guides, and other documentation for software applications and systems.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather information and create clear documentation.
  • Ensure that technical documents are user-friendly, engaging, and accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Review and edit existing documentation to improve clarity and accuracy.
  • Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to distill complex information into understandable formats.
  • Utilize various tools to design documentation layouts, templates, and graphics.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on documentation needs and timelines.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices for technical writing.
  • Perform user testing of documentation to ensure clarity and usability.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in writing and editing for technical documents.
  • Strong command of the English language, grammar, and style.
  • Familiarity with documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

Desired Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical writing or a similar role.
  • Experience in creating documentation for software or technical products.
  • Prior experience in Agile or development environments is a plus.
  • Knowledge of software development processes and terminology.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
