As a Documentation Writer, your role involves crafting clear and concise content to guide users in achieving their goals with the least number of steps. You will focus on simplifying complex processes while considering all user scenarios to ensure a seamless experience. Your responsibilities include: - Developing easy-to-follow user guides, setup manuals, FAQs, and troubleshooting content. - Breaking down complex technical concepts into simple, actionable steps. - Creating visual aids such as screenshots and videos with clear labels and numbering for step-by-step processes. - Collaborating with internal teams to gain an in-depth understanding of the product and its use cases. - Continuously improving content based on user feedback and product updates. - Ensuring content adheres to SEO best practices to enhance visibility and engagement. To be successful in this role, you should have: - 1-3 years of experience in technical writing, preferably for internet-based products or B2B SaaS. - Strong ability to simplify and structure content for a non-technical audience. - Experience with content management systems or eCommerce platforms is a plus. - Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is preferred. - Excellent communication and writing skills. - A university degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent) is preferred.
