Technical Writer – Summary

Work with developers, product owners, and QA to document features, APIs, system behavior, and user workflows for mobile and web applications.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain developer guides, API docs, architecture docs, release notes, and user guides.
Collaborate with C#/.NET mobile developers to understand new features.
Interview SMEs to clarify technical topics.
Translate complex concepts into clear, structured documentation.
Keep content updated, consistent, and aligned with releases.
Organize docs using tools like Confluence, SharePoint, Notion, or Wikis.
Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy and clarity.
Follow internal templates and style guides.

Required Skills

4+ years as a Technical Writer in software development.
Ability to read/understand C#, .NET, and mobile app concepts.
Strong experience with API/developer docs, specs, and user guides.
Excellent written English and attention to detail.
Experience working with remote dev/QA/product teams.
Proficiency with documentation platforms (Confluence, Notion, Wiki, SharePoint, Git-based docs).
Ability to multitask in an agile environment.

Nice to Have

Basic knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and client–server concepts.
Experience with Agile/Scrum.
Familiarity with Git.
Ability to create diagrams (Draw.io, Lucidchart, etc.).
