Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Lead Technical Writer (4A Level) to develop high-quality documentation for our advanced products in the areas of networking (Layer 4–7), cloud, security, microservices, and server load balancing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, write, and maintain comprehensive documentation sets with minimal supervision
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-focused content
• Work closely with Engineering, QA, SEs, and PMs to document features accurately and clearly
• Implement and improve documentation processes and standards
• Coordinate multiple documentation projects and ensure timely delivery
• Conduct comparative analysis of competitor documentation
• Participate in UI/UX usability testing and provide feedback
• Engage actively in product meetings and contribute to project success
• Deliver documentation in multiple formats (PDF, HTML, Web Help) using modern authoring tools

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5 to 9 years of experience in technical writing
• Strong understanding of software/hardware documentation, APIs, and cloud/networking technologies
• Proven experience with user, administrator, programmer guides, and online help systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Tools & Technologies:

• Authoring Tools: MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, RoboHelp, SnagIt, WebWorks Publisher
• Productivity: Microsoft Office, Visio
• Version Control/Project Tools: SVN, Perforce, Git, Jira, ClearCase, SharePoint
• Languages: JavaScript (preferred)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Master’s in Arts/Science
• CCNA certification is an added advantage

Location Preference:

• Pune: Permanent role
• Bangalore: Contract role only (for candidates interested in Bangalore location)

Notice Period: Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of up to 30 days preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹2,200,000.00 per year
