The role holder is responsible for developing skilled Operator / flex workforce who can be deployed in critical operations.
1. Provide induction training to the flexible workforce about the company, products, processes and safety measures so that they gain deeper understanding about production activities, and deploy the newly inducted employees after the certification process in the respective line operations
2. Facilitate skill gap identification process, prepare training calendar and operations based training modules, identify SMEs or develop internal trainers to conduct on the job training (OJT), class room training (CRT) & product application training ; address the identified skill gaps based on customer feedback in terms of FTR & OTIF and certify the trainees based on their performance
3. Coordinate with the respective internal stake holders to prepare necessary reports for various internal or external training audits including IATF, IMS and customer led audits and effect the suggested improvements regarding training management
4. Design & develop training effectiveness evaluation questionnaires in consultation with the SMEs for performing pre/post and weekly assessment of skills ; consolidate the training evaluation report ; conduct one to one review of the trainees and deploy certified candidates in critical / non critical areas of the operations
5. Plan and deploy flex manpower in the identified critical operations ; design training curriculum, prepare training modules and conduct need based training as per the training schedule and monitor the flex trainees who are completing 2.6 years of their training & ensure timely replacements
