Technical Support Engineer (Remote)

Providing technical Support (phone, chat, email) for software / hardware issues, diagnosing problems, guiding users through fixes, documenting tickets, escalating complex cases, ensuring satisfaction, and maintaining system knowledge, focusing on remote troubleshooting of OS (Windows/Mac/Linux), applications, networks (LAN/WAN), VPNs, and printers for end-users. Key requirements often include experience in Help Desk / Desktop Support, understanding of IT systems, strong communication, and ability to manage multiple issues with SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network-related issues

• Proficiency in remote desktop applications, screen-sharing tools, and IT support software

• In-depth knowledge of operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux

• Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and ticketing platforms

• Solid understanding of networking protocols and concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective user support

• High level of patience and empathy when dealing with non-technical users

• Ability to work independently, manage workload efficiently, and prioritize urgent issues

• Experience documenting technical issues, solutions, and preventative measures

Key Requirements

• Degree/diploma in Computer Science or equivalent as well as prior experience as a Remote support engineer

• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments

• You have an advanced understanding of IT setup, hardware, and software

• You have an exceptional aptitude for identifying and prioritizing IT issues

• You possess extensive knowledge of handling IT issues for clients

• You have proficiency in tracking performance indicators and documenting processes.

• You are able to provide critical application feedback to IT developers

• You have excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Need to work with Night shifts(US Times)

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
