Job Description

As a Technical Support Engineer (TSE) at Phenom, you will serve as a frontline technical resource for customers and partners. Your role involves collaboratively and reactively solving customer problems, providing proactive support advice, contributing to product quality enhancements, and creating self-help assets to reach a broader customer base. You will be part of a team dedicated to delivering an outstanding technical support experience to our business customers. From problem identification to resolution, you will take ownership of the customer experience over the phone and Web, collaborating with others when necessary to engage subject matter experts, Engineering, or Management. Your daily responsibilities will include providing technical expertise, excellent communication, and service-oriented professionalism. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in specific areas and receive guidance and mentorship from your colleagues. Your primary responsibilities will include effectively communicating with customers via email, phone, and other electronic methods to ensure the effective use of Phenom products. You will maintain excellent relationships with customers by applying superb customer service and technical skills, performing in-depth troubleshooting to identify root causes, and using a combination of product management and application knowledge to guide customers through successful implementations. Additionally, you will partner with clients to optimize the use of Phenom Solutions/software, lead support case resolution efforts, research and document technical issues, and contribute to the ongoing development of the Knowledge Base. To be successful in this role, you should have a B.Tech/BE/MCA degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field, with at least 1+ years of relevant professional experience in development and support. You should have a strong understanding of relational databases, non-relational databases (such as MongoDB), HTML, Kibana, AWS, Java-based applications, SaaS software, and administration. It is essential to be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a natural problem solver with in-depth troubleshooting abilities, and the ability to effectively manage customer expectations for high satisfaction.
