Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our IT infrastructure by providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with system maintenance. You will be an integral part of our team, helping users to stay productive and ensuring systems run smoothly. Key Responsibilities: •Provide first-line technical support for internal users, diagnosing and resolving IT-related issues via phone, email, and remote desktop support. •Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software for users, including PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. •Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity. •Monitor and respond to service desk tickets in a timely manner, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary. •Assist in maintaining network infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, switches, and routers. •Support the setup and deployment of new IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals. •Manage user access and permissions across various platforms and applications. Required Skills & Qualifications: •Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or in a similar technical support role. •Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking principles. •Proficient in troubleshooting Windows and Mac OS environments. •Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and common business applications. •Familiarity with network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. •Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users. •Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. •Ability to work independently and as part of a team. •Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices. •A customer-centric attitude with a focus on providing excellent support. Preferred Qualifications: •IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). •Experience in supporting cloud-based applications and services, such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar.
