Role Summary

Wipro is hiring a skilled and proactive Service Desk Engineer to provide first-level IT support and ensure smooth resolution of technical issues. This is an onsite role based in NCR, ideal for candidates with a strong technical background and hands-on experience in ticketing and incident management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide prompt technical support via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot operating system issues and escalate unresolved incidents.
• Manage and resolve service requests and incidents using ITIL-based workflows.
• Utilize ticketing tools to log, track, and close support cases.
• Ensure timely communication and resolution within defined SLAs.
• Maintain documentation of issues and resolutions for knowledge base updates.

Required Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
• Basic understanding of ITIL processes (Incident and Service Request Management).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for operating systems and common IT issues.
• Knowledge of incident lifecycle and escalation protocols.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a technical support or service desk role.
• Background in IT or Computer Science preferred.
• ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
