Summary of essential job functions

The role will require diverse functions planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of buildings and facilities. Perform analyses of operational processes, resource allocation, energy use, and safety processes, and recommend and implement improvements.

Onboarding of other vendors as needed from time-to-time (FM / Building Maintenance. etc), support to other departments operating from Blr / Hyd (recruitment / technology / procurement etc).

Competency Requirements:

1. Local Tribal is a mandatory requirement t.
2. Minm 3 years, experience preferably in facilities / administration as a facilities engineer or in a similar role.
3. Project management skills.
4. Very good communication skills.
5. Negotiation skills.
6. Capable of liaising with Govt Agencies, STPI and other statutory bodies.
7. Connects in Govt bodies will be an additional qualification.

Job Responsibilities

1. The Candidate will be the de-facto Resident Representative of [24]7.ai, at Shillong, for all sorts of liaison needs from that end.
2. To identify space options for temporary & permanent office set-up (along with all associated dynamics with each of the options) – and present them to the undersigned / all concerned, for necessary perusal.
3. To oversee the interiors / fit-out works in respect of finalized temporary & permanent office set-ups.
4. To ensure seamless training / nesting / operations from temporary & permanent office set-up – ensuring effective availability of services like power, internet, HVAC (as & if needed), HK, security, water, beverages etc.
5. Manage technical and support staff in the temporary & permanent office set-ups.
6. Facilitate dispatch / retrieval / replacement of laptops / other hardware, in respect of WFH employees.
7. To facilitate setting up of appointments with various Govt bodies / Govt officials.
8. To maintain records, as needed from time-to-time, in respect of [24]7.ai office at Shillong.
9. Liaise with other departments, such as human resources, IT, compliance – and support corresponding reqts / audits etc.
10. Fostering a professional working environment.
11. Analyzing project costs and preparing budgets.
12. Planning and coordinating infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities.
13. Coordinating and overseeing contractors performing maintenance activities.
14. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
15. Preparing reports and compliance documentation.
16. Inspecting and repairing electrical and plumbing services.
17. Undertaking building and grounds maintenance.
18. Ensuring facilities are always clean.
19. Installing and managing air conditioning services.
20. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
21. Managing waste disposal systems.
22. Ensuring a constant security presence.
23. Installing and maintaining adequate communications infrastructure.
24. Managing parking facilities and ensuring space.
25. Overseeing refurbishments and renovations.
26. Develop technical budget.
27. Hire and onboard new staff.
28. Adhere to company's rules and regulations.
