Role : Technical Project Manager

Location : Chennai, Mepz Tambaram

Mode of work : 4 days WFO

Shift Timing’s : 2.30 to 11.30pm IST

Max Salary : 30LPA (Including VP)

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution

  : Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines. Develop detailed project plans and track progress to ensure timely delivery.

• Team Collaboration

  : Work closely with engineering, data science, and product teams to ensure technical feasibility and effective resource allocation.

• Stakeholder Management

  : Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and key milestones.

• Risk Management

  : Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.

• Agile Practices

  : Drive Agile or hybrid project management methodologies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

• Documentation and Reporting

  : Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular progress reports to leadership.

• Quality Assurance

  : Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet user needs and expectations.

• Budget and Resource Management

  : Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Educational Background

  : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

• Experience

  : Have overall 8-10 yrs of experience in Software development projects and around 5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in AI, SaaS, or technology-driven organizations.

• Technical Expertise

  : Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, cloud platforms, and software development lifecycles.

• Project Management Tools

  : Proficiency in tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar platforms.

• Methodologies

  : Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban methodologies.

• Problem-Solving

  : Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

• Communication

  : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing AI/ML or data science projects.
• Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, ReactJS, JavaScript, or similar is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a startup or fast-growth environment.
