Role and Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of observability engineers in India, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of observability platforms, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) and business objectives are consistently met.
• Define and execute the observability roadmap across APM, infrastructure monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, and synthetic monitoring.
• Implement proactive monitoring practices and automation to reduce Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR) and enhance system reliability.
• Work closely with DevOps, SRE, application, and infrastructure teams to embed observability into CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with US-based stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and provide regular program updates.
• Oversee vendor relationships, licensing, and platform optimization for tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, or equivalent.
• Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, and dashboards to measure platform adoption, performance, and business impact.
• Promote best practices in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), anomaly detection, and AIOps.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 10 years in engineering Project management, with a strong focus on observability, infrastructure, or DevOps domains

• Proven experience in project management within observability or infrastructure domains.
• Strong understanding of observability tools and practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with global teams and managing cross-functional initiatives.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and SRE principles.
