Technical Officer Ready Mix Concrete Mix Design

Job Summary:

mix design, testing, quality control, and quality monitoring of ready mix concrete (RMC).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Mix Design and Optimization:
• Develop, review, and optimize concrete mix designs to meet specific client/project requirements.
• Ensure the mix designs comply with relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS, ASTM, ACI).
• Monitor raw material quality and adjust mix designs as necessary.
2. Testing and Quality Control:
• Conduct and oversee laboratory and field testing of concrete (slump tests, compressive strength, etc.).
• Ensure that all testing procedures comply with national and international standards.
• Analyze test results and provide feedback for improvement or adjustment of concrete batches.
3. Site Operations and Technical Support:
• Coordinate with clients, site engineers, and project managers to ensure timely concrete supply and proper site handling.
• Provide on-site support during concrete pouring and fixing to ensure technical compliance and resolve any issues.
• Conduct quality checks at the project site to ensure concrete meets the required specifications.
4. Quality Assurance and Monitoring:
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures throughout the production and delivery process.
• Ensure adherence to established quality standards and maintain proper documentation.
• Continuously improve production processes to enhance concrete quality and performance.
5. Client Coordination and Support:
• Act as the point of contact for clients regarding technical queries, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients on concrete-related issues at the project site.
• Address client complaints and concerns with prompt and effective solutions.
6. Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Prepare detailed technical reports on mix designs, test results, and quality control activities.
• Maintain records and documentation of concrete batching and quality control for audits and client reference.
7. Training and Development:
• Provide training to production and site teams on quality control processes and concrete handling best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in concrete technology and apply them to improve operations.

Qualifications:

• Education: BE/BTech in Civil Engineering, Material Science, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of

  3-5 years of experience in mix design, concrete testing, and quality control in a Ready Mix Concrete company or construction industry.

• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of concrete technology and mix design principles.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards (IS, ASTM, ACI).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and site teams.
• Proficient in MS Office and concrete mix design software.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work at construction sites under challenging conditions.
• A valid drivers license and willingness to travel to client sites as require
