Role Objective

technical research, product development, and customer support

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development & R&D

• Develop and modify automotive paint formulations as per customer and market requirements.
• Conduct shade development, color matching, and paint performance testing.
• Evaluate and approve alternate raw materials to enhance cost efficiency and product quality.
• Scale up formulations from lab to production while ensuring consistency and compliance with specifications.
• Support in achieving cost, quality, and performance targets for new and existing products.

2. Technical Support & Customer Interaction

• Provide on-site technical assistance at

  automotive OEMs and refinish workshops

  .
• Investigate paint performance issues and identify root causes for quick resolution.
• Conduct trials, shade approvals, and paint testing at customer sites.
• Ensure successful establishment and standardization of new products at customer lines.

3. Project Execution & Documentation

• Execute technical projects as per defined timelines and objectives.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including test reports, formulations, and SAP/KM entries.
• Update and manage databases such as tinting systems, shade libraries, and raw material records.

Candidate Profile

• 3 -7 years of relevant experience in

  automotive coatings / paint R&D / technical service

  .
• Strong understanding of

  paint formulation, shade matching, and spray application processes

  .
• Hands-on experience in

  paint testing, raw material evaluation, and process optimization

  .
• Knowledge of both

  automotive OEM and refinish coatings

  preferred.
