Role Overview

Technical Network Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Engagement & Lead Development

  • Identify and prospect SMEs, corporate clients, enterprises, and Govt/PSU opportunities.
  • Explain MatreComm’s products—CraftWorld, CraftUnify, CraftTWIN, CraftWANI—in a simple and compelling way.

2. Technical Pre-Sales

  • Understand customer’s IT/network infrastructure, gaps, and pain points.
  • Match customer needs to MatreComm solutions such as:
    • Network automation (CraftWorld)
    • Enterprise IT/Network/Security management (CraftUnify)
    • Digital Twin for Industry 4.0 (CraftTWIN)
    • Enterprise Wi-Fi management platform (CraftWANI)

3. Solution Demonstrations & Proposals

  • Conduct product demos, presentations, and PoCs.
  • Prepare proposals, commercial quotes, and solution documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering/technical teams for sizing and deployment planning.

4. Sales Execution

  • Achieve sales targets and develop a predictable sales pipeline.
  • Engage in field visits, customer meetings, partner interactions, and events.
  • Maintain CRM records and update customer interactions regularly.

5. Market & Technology Understanding

  • Stay updated on networking technologies (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, 5G, IoT).
  • Monitor competitor offerings and market trends in enterprise IT and telecom automation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / IT / Electronics / Computer Science.
  • Fresher–3 years

    experience in Technical Sales / IT Infra Sales / Network Solutions Sales.
  • Understanding of:
    • Routing & Switching
    • Wi-Fi Technologies
    • Firewalls & Security
    • Cloud / SaaS platforms
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and translate them into customer value.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • CCNA certification

    (preferred)
  • Prior internship/experience in IT/networking companies
  • Exposure to enterprise ITSM, network monitoring tools, or Wi-Fi solutions
  • Understanding of Telco/ISP environments
