Technical Manager

• Maintaining Quality Management System in lab : Maintain QMS according to Quality manual and Procedure manual.
• Qverall responsibility of lab testing : To review the testing of all incoming samples done by lab chemists. To ensure that all the testing are according to ASTM/IS/IP/ISO standards as described in scope.
• Preparation of SOP and Work Instructions : Preparation of SOP and Work Instructions according to Testing standards and ensure that all latest versions are available at the workplace.
• PT/ ILC Programme : Assuring that PT/ILC programme conducted regularly and maintain their records.
• Intermediate checking of samples : To follow the intermediate checking schedule and maintain their records.
• Actions related to Nonconformity : Initiate actions related to corrective and preventive actions against non-conformity of samples and processes.
• Calibration of measuring and monitoring equipment : Maintain periodic calibration of measuring equipment's as per their schedule and maintain record for calibration status report.
• Equipment maintenance : To plan for periodic maintenance of equipments and check for equipment accuracy as per schedule
• Preparation of test reports : Preparation and review of test reports of incoming samples.
• Resource management : To order and verify the incoming consumables and instruments in laboratory.
• Training and supervision of lab chemists and their evaluation
• Monitor the environmental conditions of the lab
• Impartiality and Confidentiality : Maintain the impartiality and confidentiality in lab processes
• Record keeping : Maintain the records related to lab testing and QMS.
• Updation of specifications : To update RM specification in software .

Education/Qualification

Min. B.Sc. Chemistry

Training

Awareness Training of ISO/IEC 17025 : 2017, ISO 9001:2015, Testing of Grease and lubricants.

Experience

Min.5 yrs experience in Testing of Lubricants and greases.

Skills

Good Observation, Analytical thinking, Team Handling, Documentation

Technical Knowledge

ASTM, ISO ,IP ,IS methods related to Lubricants and grease testing.
