Job Description

Job Title-

Job Location-

The Technical Manager CNG and Gas Solutions will be responsible for driving sales and technical support for CNG compressors and boosters across designated markets. This role requires a blend of engineering expertise and strategic sales acumen to grow our footprint in the industrial, transportation, and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for

    CNG compressors and boosters

    across assigned territories.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market share in industrial, transportation, and energy sectors.
  • Developed and executed strategies for expanding into

    Biogas equipment and compressor

    markets, targeting agro-industrial and municipal sectors.
  • Conducted feasibility assessments and client consultations for biogas-to-energy projects.
  • Collaborated with engineering teams to design integrated solutions for biogas upgrading and compression.
  • Built partnerships with sustainability-focused organizations and government bodies to promote renewable gas adoption.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, EPCs, fleet operators, and government agencies.
  • Conduct technical presentations, product demos, and site visits to support client decision-making.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including sizing, selection, and troubleshooting of compressor systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions to customer requirements.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the CNG space.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and review technical proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules in alignment with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools.
  • Report regularly to senior management on performance metrics and strategic initiatives.

Qualification:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 5+ years in technical sales, preferably in CNG, oil & gas, or industrial equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Strong understanding of gas compression technologies, pressure systems, and related standards.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), MS Office, and technical drawing tools (e.g., AutoCAD is a plus).

Preferred Experience:

Candidates with prior experience at CNG and Biogas projects and  executions.
