Opening: Technical Manager for application of Enzyme-Based Products in Sugar, Distillery and

Grain Industry

Location: Across India

Job Summary: -

We are seeking for a technically strong and industry-savvy Specialist to develop, promote, and support the

applicaƟ on of enzyme-based products in Sugar, DisƟ llery, and Grain industries. The person will be responsible for

promoƟ ng and providing technical support for enzyme-based products across the Sugar, DisƟ llery, and Grain

.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Development & Process Optimization

 Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale trials for enzyme applicaƟ ons in target industries (e.g., Sugar, DisƟ llery

& Grain).

 Evaluate enzyme performance under varying process condiƟ ons and idenƟ fy opƟ mal parameters.

 Collaborate with R&D teams for product improvement and new formulaƟ on development.

 Support scale-up and process validaƟ on for new enzyme products.

Technical Support

 Provide technical assistance to producƟ on, QA/QC, and R&D teams for enzyme-related operaƟ ons.

 InvesƟ gate process deviaƟ ons or enzyme inefficiencies and recommend correcƟ ve acƟ ons.

 Support customer trials (as needed) with data analysis and on-site technical supervision.

Product Evaluation & Quality

 Conduct comparaƟ ve analysis of enzyme samples from internal and external sources.

 Support analyƟ cal method development for enzyme acƟ vity, stability, and performance tesƟ ng.

 Maintain accurate technical data, reports, and performance records.

Cross-Funcctional Coordination

 Liaise with R&D, producƟ on, and quality teams for product scale-up, batch consistency, and

troubleshooƟ ng.

 Collaborate with procurement and planning teams for enzyme raw material evaluaƟ on and availability.

 Provide technical inputs during new product launches or process transiƟ ons.

Key Skills & Competencies: -

 Strong understanding of enzyme kineƟ cs, fermentaƟ on, and biochemical processes.

 Hands-on experience with analyƟ cal techniques such as acƟ vity assays, spectrophotometry, etc.

 Ability to analyse data and prepare technical reports.

 Good communicaƟ on and coordinaƟ on skills for inter-departmental collaboraƟ on.

 Problem-solving and conƟ nuous improvement mindset.

Qualification & Experience

 EducaƟ on: B. Sc/M.Sc. / B. Tech, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related life science discipline.

 Experience: 2–4 years in enzyme applicaƟ on, fermentaƟ on, process development, or technical service

funcƟ ons within the enzyme or biotech industry.

 Preferred Background: Candidates with exposure to enzyme formulaƟ on, stability tesƟ ng, and industrial

trials.
