Technical Lead-WordPress

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Tech Lead to oversee and deliver high-quality WordPress development projects. You will lead a team of developers, ensure high-quality code, and implement best practices to deliver scalable and efficient WordPress solutions. The ideal candidate will be open to leveraging AI tools where appropriate to enhance development workflows and overall team productivity.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of WordPress developers to deliver high-quality, scalable websites.  

- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and themes.  

- Ensure high standards of code quality through regular code reviews and adherence to best practices.  

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, content creators, and SEO specialists, to ensure seamless project execution.  

- Utilize AI tools and techniques to streamline repetitive tasks and improve development efficiency.  

- Optimize website performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues.  

- Stay updated on the latest WordPress trends, tools, and technologies, including AI advancements, to enhance development practices.  

- Explore opportunities to implement AI-driven solutions, such as automated testing or performance monitoring, when beneficial to projects.

Required Skills and Experience

- 5+ years of experience in WordPress development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality websites.  

- Strong expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.  

- Extensive experience in theme development.  

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.  

- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.  

- Interest in learning and integrating AI tools to enhance development workflows.  

- Candidate Should have Experience with Diverse Set of Themes. Like X-Theme, Astra, Avada, Bridge, Divi, Engage, GeneratePress

- A high level of experience with UI layouts, SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}

Preferred Skills

- Experience with WordPress Multisite.  

- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and tools.  

- Familiarity with website security best practices.  

- Understanding of SEO principles and their application in WordPress.  

- Prior experience with AI-driven features like content analysis, automated testing, or workflow enhancements.
