Job Description

Lead Frontend Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable frontend applications using
React, Vite, and TailwindCSS
.
Architect and implement
micro-frontend solutions
to support modular, scalable, and maintainable applications.
Drive integration with
REST APIs
, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient communication with backend services.
Implement advanced
state management
using
Redux and Context API
, ensuring performance and maintainability.
Lead implementation of
Mapbox
for geospatial visualization and interactive maps.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
Establish best practices, coding standards, and CI/CD strategies for frontend delivery.
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, conducting code reviews and fostering technical excellence.
Stay ahead of emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and trends to drive innovation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
7+ years of frontend development experience with strong expertise in
React.js
.
Hands-on experience with
Vite
as a build tool and
TailwindCSS
for UI development.
Proven experience in
micro-frontend architecture
and modular application design.
Strong proficiency with
RESTful APIs
,
Redux
, and
Context API
.
Experience in
Mapbox
(or similar libraries like Leaflet, Google Maps API) for geospatial applications.
Solid understanding of web performance optimization, security, and responsive design.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on scalability and maintainability.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of TypeScript.
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
