As a Apigee Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, maintaining, and supporting the Apigee infrastructure. Your main responsibilities will include: - Defining the overall API architecture, API implementations, integration, and deployment of API management platforms such as APIGEE - Understanding pilot implementation plans, reference architecture, and developing governance processes - Implementing CI/CD methodology, API versioning strategy, and API monetization strategy - Creating automation scripts through Ansible and Python - Designing and implementing API Gateway solutions - Leading analytical and consulting working sessions to solve technical problems faced by application teams onboarding to Apigee API Gateway Your qualifications should meet the following requirements: - Bachelor or master's degree in computer science - Hands-on DevOps experience with experience leading a small team - Strong knowledge of Apigee infrastructure and development - Strong knowledge on Automation scripts using Python and Ansible - Solid understanding of API design and API management - Experience with an API Gateway solution, with a good experience in APIGEE - Experienced in delivering applications through the entire SDLC process - Experienced in working with infrastructure teams to set up servers, load balancers, firewalls, etc. - Experienced in various monitoring tools - Experienced in production support - Understanding of OWASP, SAML, OAuth, SSL, and various other security tools, technologies, and guidelines - Understanding of enterprise architectures and enterprise integration tools and methodologies - Capable of picking up new technologies and developing new solutions In addition to technical skills, you should possess good communication skills, both in person and over the phone, and have significant experience in DevOps and the CI/CD process, especially deploying API Proxies/Products in Apigee through CI/CD. Your expertise in developing and consuming Restful and SOAP services, working with APIGEE Edge, Developer Portal & APIGEE Baas platform, and enforcing API specification standards will be essential for this role. Additionally, you will participate in the creation of technical specifications, design documents, and data mapping while adhering to best practices and principles of integration design and architecture.,
