With a background in software engineering and telecom, this role specializes in testing, quality assurance, and automation. The focus is on contributing to process improvements while ensuring product deliverables meet the highest standards. Experience in networking protocols and testing tools enables handling both functional and non-functional testing with precision. You have: Graduate or post-graduate in engineering discipline with 3+ years of experience in manual and automated testing, including automation using tools like Robot, Python, and Java. Understanding of networking protocols, including Ethernet, L2/L3, TCP/UDP/TLS, with additional exposure to PON and DSL. Extensive experience in telecom, software development, and system configuration, with a strong focus on driving process improvements. Proficiency in working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, SCM systems such as Mercurial/Git, enhancing build and delivery automation. It would be nice if you also had: Knowledge in automating tests and debugging, with proficiency in Python, Java and Robot frameworks. Good working knowledge of Linux OS, deployment in virtual environments and using Docker for host simulation in testing. Ensure effective application of both manual and automated testing processes, contributing to the delivery of high-quality products. Drive quality improvements in the product and testing processes, identifying areas for optimization and implementing necessary changes. Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with architects, developers, and testers, enhancing overall team performance. Initiate and contribute to testing improvements, staying informed about the latest trends in automation and software testing technologies. Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate these innovations into our processes to enhance product quality. Deepen understanding of networking protocols (Ethernet, L2/L3, TCP/UDP/TLS), contributing to more efficient and effective testing in the telecom sector. Leverage experience in test design, test bed setup, and execution while refining skills in reporting and debugging. Gain hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and automation frameworks, improving the efficiency and quality of the testing lifecycle.
