Job Description

Job Summary Environment Delivery Manager Manage and deliver the objectives for environment delivery across NPO Responsibilities Capture project/programme environment and data requirements Manage the provision of environments and data to meet those requirements Successful handover of testing environments to the test execution and delivery teams with a focus on ensuring that their requirements are successfully delivered in the agreed time frame and with agreed quality Develop measure and report KPIs on environment performance. Ensure environments are maintained to agreed service levels by support functions and 3rd party suppliers Support the development of programme testing strategies within large programmes of work to ensure the test approach and environment capabilities are aligned Ensure that the environment is an accurate reflection of production by working in conjunction with the test environment community and other IT teams. Manage the relationship with the project management community acting as a single point of contact for test environment and test data delivery within the projectprogramme Manage the creation of new test environments as required. Engage architecture and project teams to capture functional and capacity requirements and ensure environment is correctly provisioned to meet those requirements. Also ensure that it accurately reflects production environment Communicate and report all environment delivery related issues and progress to the Programme QA Managers Test Managers Project Managers Take ownership for issues and escalations which arise as a result of test environment and test data delivery and see them through to a satisfactory resolution Manage any incidents of poor environment performance to continually improve testing deliverables. Understand best practice and drive the activity of quality assurance across IT to focus on and balance the needs of the customer. Manage Test environment bookings and schedule clashes driven by project timescale slippage.
