Technical Installation Engineer – Lithium Battery, Solar & ESS Systems

Job Summary:

Technical Installation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site installation, wiring, and commissioning of

  lithium battery banks

  and

  solar PV systems

  .
• Integrate lithium batteries with

  solar inverters, charge controllers, and ESS

  setups.
• Work with hybrid/off-grid/inverter systems and ensure proper BMS integration.
• Ensure system optimization and test installed equipment to confirm performance.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical design schematics and layouts.
• Perform routine checks, troubleshooting, and maintenance support post-installation.
• Coordinate with the design and project teams to ensure proper load calculations, battery sizing, and inverter compatibility.
• Handle customer queries during installation and provide basic operational training.
• Maintain site safety standards and ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• Proven experience in lithium battery, solar PV, or ESS installation (minimum 2 years).
• Understanding of

  BMS

  ,

  MPPT/Hybrid inverters

  ,

  DC wiring

  , and

  AC distribution

  .
• Experience with tools such as multimeters, battery testers, and solar analyzers.
• Knowledge of

  IS/IEC safety standards

  related to electrical installation.
• Ability to work at heights, in remote locations, and under flexible schedules.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in solar installation or lithium battery technology.
• Familiarity with

  51.2V Lithium Battery Packs

  , 3.2V Cells, and

  Rack Mount/Wall Mount systems

  .
• Knowledge of solar monitoring systems and smart BMS technologies.
• Experience working with off-grid and hybrid ESS setups.
