Job Title: Technical Engineer

Project: Community Infrastructure Development
Location: Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand
Salary: ₹30,00 to ₹35,000/month
Contract Type: Full-time (Field-Based)

Job Summary:

Sshrishti is seeking a qualified Technical Engineer to oversee the construction of schools and community development projects under a CSR initiative in rural and mountainous villages of Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand. The role involves on-site supervision, quality control, technical support, and coordination with contractors to ensure the timely and safe execution of civil works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor contractor performance and maintain construction quality in line with design and technical standards.
  • Conduct site inspections, maintain progress reports, safety logs, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with project teams for smooth execution.
  • Provide technical support and problem-solving on engineering challenges in remote locations.
  • Prepare and submit detailed monthly site-wise status reports to senior management.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • 2-4 years of experience, including at least 1- 2 years working in mountain/rural construction sites.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, BOQ preparation, site supervision, and understanding of hill-specific construction techniques.
  • Experience in CSR, NGO, or rural development projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work under challenging environmental conditions.

Additional Requirements:

  • Physically fit and willing to work in tough terrain and changing weather conditions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively between remote village project sites.
  • Flexible to work extended hours or weekends, if required by project timelines.
