Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented fresher to join our R&D team as a Technical Documentation Writer at Sioniq Tech Pvt Ltd. You will assist in preparing clear and user-friendly documentation for our upcoming Jewelry ERP system. This role is ideal for someone who loves writing, learning about software, and explaining complex ideas in simple terms. You’ll work closely with our business analysts, developers, and designers to understand how the application works and present it effectively for end users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating Design docs, user manuals, help guides, and screen-wise documentation for the Jewelry ERP.
  • Write simple, clear, and structured content to help users understand product features.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to gather information about modules, forms, and workflows.
  • Prepare FAQs, tool-tips, and basic walk through documents under guidance.
  • Organize documentation for easy access and maintain proper versioning.
  • Update content as the software evolves or feedback is received.
  • Maintain consistency in tone, formatting, and terminology across documents.

Requirements:

  • Strong command over English with good writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain basic software features clearly.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or similar documentation tools.
  • Eagerness to learn technical concepts and documentation best practices.
  • Interest in working with cross-functional technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Completion of any certified course related to Technical Documentation or Technical Writing is preferable.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP or software applications.
  • Ability to create basic flowcharts or screen annotations.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) concepts.

Terms of Employment:

  • Bond Period: 3 Years from the date of joining (including probation).
  • Probation Period: 6 Months
  • During probation, working days will be 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday).
  • After successful completion of probation, regular working days will be 5 days a week (Monday to Friday).
  • Performance Review: Regular assessments during probation for confirmation and future growth planning.
