Role Overview

As a Technical Counsellor at My Equation, you will act as a guide and mentor for students exploring their career and technical learning options. Your role is to understand each student's background, interests, and career goals, and then recommend the most suitable learning path or program. The focus is on counselling students to make well-informed decisions that align with their ambitions, while helping them see the real-world value of My Equation's offering.

Key Responsibilities

Understand student backgrounds, interests, and career goals to recommend the most suitable learning programs.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to uncover trends, challenges, and new opportunities.

Connect with students via calls, WhatsApp, and email based on leads and enquiries received.

Explain program offerings, curriculum structure, and unique benefits in a clear, engaging way.

Collaborate with marketing and training teams to improve lead quality and conversion rates.

Coordinate with the marketing team to enhance lead-generation campaigns and outreach strategies.

Develop and implement engagement strategies with engineering colleges and academic institutions across India.

Performance-driven career growth with clear milestones and promotion opportunities.

Work closely with the leadership team on SMO management, revenue generation, and evolving responsibilities as per business growth.

Qualifications

Any graduate or postgraduate (preferably from engineering, technical background).

Strong interest in technology, learning, and education.

Excellent communication, listening, and persuasion skills.

Basic understanding of sales processes or prior experience in counselling/admission sales is a plus.
