Technical Consultant

• Design and develop Workday integrations to third party systems, including Web Services and media integrations with job boards.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Workday integration issues.
• Support Workday
• Ensure that all projects within remit are managed to Capita standard and within broader process team
• Escalate process issues to respective business owners in a timely and structured approach
• Support other HCM team members in the IT and HR Operations teams to prioritise issue resolution, promote value added activities, focus on exceeding customer demands and be mindful of the end-to-end process
• Provide expertise with data migration activities (create and maintain EIBs)
• Assess current business process configuration and work with the business to simplify and standardize processes
• Establish a culture of continuous improvement, best practice sharing and process standardization and align with the other functional areas of the team
• Driving and tracking strategic initiatives that improve the user experience

Skills and Experience

• 7+ years hands-on experience with building and supporting Workday integrations
• Must be Workday Certified in Workday HCM and Integration modules
• Strong understanding of data exchange implementation and secure data transmission.
• Proven experience in various Workday Integration methods such as Workday Studio, Core Connector, APIs, Web Services
• Must have proven experience in integration of Workday HR system with on-premise SAP Payroll system (PECI and WECI Integration methods)
• Proven experience in building and supporting EIBs across various HR functional areas (HCM, Talent & Performance, Absence and Compensation related data extracts)
• Proactive self-starter and able to complete time-sensitive activities within set deadlines.
• Strong track record of creative problem-solving using software systems, and the desire to upskill in new technologies (e.g. Workday Orchestrate)
• Strong understanding of governance around changes to development (Release management and change controls)
• Must have experience working in a global team (across multiple geographies)
