The Technical Associate will be responsible for providing technical support, testing, and application development for adhesive tape products. The role involves collaborating with the quality, RD, and sales teams to ensure product performance, resolve customer complaints, and support business growth through technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Application Support
- Provide technical guidance to internal teams and customers on adhesive tape applications.
- Conduct product trials, demonstrations, and application feasibility studies.
- Assist in selecting the right adhesive tape solution for different customer needs.
2. Testing Analysis
- Perform laboratory testing (peel strength, shear, tack, adhesion to various substrates, etc).
- Analyze customer complaints and conduct root cause analysis.
- Maintain testing records, generate technical reports, and suggest corrective actions.
3. Quality Compliance
- Support quality assurance team in evaluating incoming raw materials and finished goods.
- Ensure product specifications comply with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Participate in audits and certification processes (ISO/IATF/Customer audits).
4. Process Development
- Collaborate with RD for new product development and customization.
- Provide feedback on process improvements to reduce defects, improve performance, and optimize costs.
- Support scale-up from lab trials to shop-floor production.
5. Customer Interaction
- Support sales team during technical discussions with customers.
- Visit customer sites for technical trials, troubleshooting, and training.
- Document and share application case studies to build technical knowledge base.

Qualifications
- bachelors degree / Diploma in Engineering or related field .
- 1 3 years of experience in adhesives, tapes, coatings, or related industry preferred (freshers with strong technical aptitude can also be considered).
